United States defeat Spain to win gold in men’s basketball

The United States ‘redeem team’ have certainly redeemed themselves at the Beijing Olympics, not losing a single game and defeating Spain 118-107 in the final to win the gold medal.
The bronze medal was won by Argentina, who defeated Lithuania 87-75.

U.S. beat Australia to win gold in women’s basketball

The United States have defeated Australia 92-65 to win its fourth consecutive gold medal in women’s basketball. It is the third Olympics the U.S. played Australia in the final.
