Kirsten van der Kolk and Marit van Eupen from Netherlands have won the gold medal in the women’s lightweight double sculls.

Oussama Mellouli beats Grant Hackett to win men’s 1500m freestyle

Oussama Mellouli from Tunisia has won the gold medal in the men’s 1500m freestyle, a race which Grant Hackett from Australia was favorite to win and had won at the previous two Olympics. Mellouli won the race in 14:40.84.
Hackett still managed to win the silver medal and Ryan Cochrane from Canada won the bronze.

Yoshida Saori from Japan beat China’s Xu Li to win the gold medal in the women’s 55kg freestyle wrestling.
