Ricardo Santos and Emanuel Rego of Brazil beat Georgian pair Jorge Terceiro and Renato Gomes in the bronze medal match of men’s beach volleyball.
They won in two sets 21-15, 21-10.

Shirvani Muradov from Russia has won the gold medal in men’s 96kg freestyle wrestling.
Taimuraz Tigiyev from Kazakhstan has won the silver medal. Khetag Gazyumov from Azerbaijan and George Gogshelidze from Georgia won bronze medals.

Georgia’s Revazi Mindorashvili has won the country’s second gold in the wrestling, by winning the men’s 84kg division.
He defeated Tajikistan’s Yusup Abdusalomov from Tajikistan who won the silver medal.
Davyd Bichinashvili of Russia beat Germany’s Georgy Ketoev to win the bronze medal. Taras Danko from the Ukraine won the other bronze medal.

Manuchar Kvirkvelia from Georgia won the men’s greco-roman 74 kilogram wrestling by defeating Chang Yongxiang from China.
It was China’s first Olympic medal ever in the wrestling.
Christophe Guenot from France and Yavor Yanakiev from Bulgaria won bronze medals.

It’s pretty ironic that two countries in a conflict, win Olympic medals in shooting. Natalia Paderina from Russia won the silver medal and Nino Salukvadze from Georgia took the bronze medal in the women’s 10 metre air pistol. The gold went to China.
