United States smashes men’s 4×200 meter freestyle relay WR

The United States has won gold in the men’s 4×200 meter freestyle relay and completely smashed the world record with a winning time of 6:58:56. The previous record was 7:03.24 set by the United States in March 2007. Russia came second and Australia third.

Michael Phelps wins his third gold medal

Michael Phelps has won his third gold medal at the Beijing Olympics in the men’s 200 meter freestyle, breaking the world record in the process.
