The 12,000 square metre skatepark is part of the New Jiangwan City redevelopment of a former military airbase 12km from downtown Shanghai. The skatepark has the world’s biggest vertical ramp, the world’s biggest concrete skate bowl (with 360 degree full pipe) and a 5,000 capacity stadium.

The Shanghai World Financial Center opens this weekend in Shanghai and is mainland China’s tallest building.
The 101-storey mixed-use tower is 492m tall and its observation deck located on the 97th-100th floors is the highest in the world.
The building was financed by Japan’s Mori Building.

Argentina plays Brazil in the football semi-final tonight
Argentina play Brazil tonight in the semi-final of the men’s football. The match starts at 9:00 p.m and will be played at the Worker’s Stadium in Beijing.
Belgium and Nigeria will play in Shanghai in the other semi-final.
The Argentina – Brazil match is being billed as the Ronaldinho-Lionel Messi clash.
